2002 CRV Tire size question

Looking for some advice.

Can I put wider tires on my 2002 CRV ? The wheels are alloy.

According to the recommendations from hondasuv.com, you can put a 215/65-15
tire on that will give you a wider footprint while keeping the diameter of
the tire as close to the stock size as possible. I had also read an article
at the same site about someone using Honda Odyssey 16in alloy wheels with
the appropriate tire size.
